spring fever

Last Friday the beau called me while I was at work to ask me if he could take me on a date. Of course I said yes. I adore dates! In perfect date night form the beau arrived home "late" from work so as to provide me with ample getting ready time. He knocked on the door to "pick me up" and imagine my surprise when he was carrying my very own vintage (ca: 1970's bike)!!! I've been wanting to meander around on the paths behind our apartment. Then imagine my further surprise when he said he'd be right back up to get me and he appeared with a charming bouquet of daisies. Not just any daisies - but the perfect pristine white non-gerber variety that I adore. Daisies are splendid! I don't know if my subconscious was anticipating the bike or the daisies, or if it was just the 70 degree weather but I was really longing for spring which was reflected in my date night wardrobe:

dress: Old Navy
boots: minnetonka moccasins
purse: vintage ralph lauren
earrings: forever 21
ring: handcrafted and purchased on a trip to Israel
flowers: the beau

what i wore: bubble bath

Tonight I took advantage of some of my Christmas gifts (note: still have yet to receive desired vintage fur objects from last post). The beau's sister, who knows of my fondness for organic skin care, gifted me with two very perfect skin treats.

Ginger Float Creme Bubble Bath-
which literally feels like cashmere atop bath water and A Perfect World Intensely Hydrating Body Cream with White Tea Extracts which is, in my opinion, one of the best lotions on the market. It is incredibly moisturizing and contains antioxidants. The two products combined left me with a bath experience that was a slice of heaven. Literally.

I recommend buying up both immediately.
